I was only recently speaking with some friends about how much Christmas gifting has changed. When I was a child most stocking filler items cost around £5, but money went a lot further then. Now, my household would categorise a stocking filler as under £20, so although there are vast differences in what people are happy to pay for gifts at Christmas, that’s the budget I’ve set for this guide. Bearing that in mind, here are my gift suggestions for good quality and thoughtful stocking fillers for her.

Perfect for the girl who keeps her feet on the ground when her head’s in the clouds (bonus points if you can name the song reference). I’ve always had big dreams but I’m also someone who typically prefers to plan over being spontaneous. This Bucket List book is designed for anyone who likes to make lists and to track goals and plans. It’s also a vote of confidence, that you know the recipient has big things planned.

HOW TO DRINK GIN | £9.35

Gin is the drink of the moment. Fellow Norfolk dweller, Sue Telford, has written a whole book about gin, including how to make and mix it. This is the perfect stocking filler for anyone who likes gin and experimenting with drinks, as it features quite a few cocktail recipes. If you’re already planning on gifting someone a bottle of gin (like the homemade sloe gin in my eco-friendly gift guide), then this would make a great accompanying gift. It’s also a great ice-breaking exercise on Christmas day; who fancies a cocktail?!
