April Highlights | 2018

Despite the showers, April was my best month of the year so far. Not only did we have a few sunny days here in the UK, but April was also host to my first holiday of the year. I’m definitely not ready for May, but it’s here anyway! Before I put April to bed, here are my highlights…

I won’t go into this in too much detail, because I have a dedicated post going up on Thursday, you already know its a good one because its in my favourites!
Revuele Argon Oil Eye Elixir Cream*
If you follow me on Instagram, then you may already know that I’ve been getting on really well with this. I’m a huge fan of argon oil, and this didn’t disappoint. The product has a thick cream consistency, which feels smooth and comfortable on the under-eye area. This hasn’t overtaken my love for the Clinique All About Eyes (which is much more pricey), but it has overtaken all of my other eye-creams.

The Woman in the Window
Unfortunately, at home I’m rarely able to find the time to read as much as I used to. Whenever I’m off on a beach holiday, I like to pick up a book or two at the airport. The Woman in the Window was my choice for Greece. I have to admit, I was in a bit of a rush when I picked this up, and chose it because I thought it was written by the author of Gone Girl… it wasn’t. Nevertheless, I absolutely loved this book, it was so full of suspense and easy to read. I finished it within a few days, and found it similar to Gone Girl in its twisty-turny, dramatic storyline. If you liked Gone Girl, I’d definitely recommend picking this one up.
